How can I draw from my line of credit?

You can draw from your credit line at any time, as little as $1 at a time. With a line of credit, you can make payments and cover expenses without having to hold cash or sell bitcoin. Common uses include:

  • Pay bills: Pay your mortgage, credit card, utilities, or other expenses.
  • Withdraw to a bank: Transfer cash to a linked bank account via wire transfer.
  • Send cash: Send cash to friends or family on Strike.
  • Buy bitcoin: Purchase bitcoin with your Strike cash balance.

Note: Line of credit draws cannot be used to send globally.

Each draw increases your outstanding principal and raises your LTV ratio. You cannot draw beyond your available credit or past the point where your LTV would exceed 50%.

Interest on draws

Interest starts accruing daily the moment you draw. If you draw $100 from a $3,500 credit line, the Daily Periodic Rate applies to that $100 each day until you repay it. In this example, $3,400 would remain available, and interest would not be charged on it.

Interest is billed monthly on the 1st and due on the 15th. Learn how interest and payments work for the line of credit.

Repaying and re-drawing

After you repay the principal, the amount is returned to your available credit. You can draw again without opening a new line of credit. There are no draw fees.
